The rules for using Memoir
These Terms of Service govern your use of Memoir, a free, client-side web application for creating photo slideshows. By using Memoir, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the application.
Memoir is a browser-based application that allows you to create and view photo slideshows using images from your local device, Google Drive, Google Photos, or Microsoft OneDrive. All processing occurs entirely within your browser. Memoir has no servers and does not store, transmit, or retain any of your data.
Memoir is provided free of charge for personal, non-commercial use. By using Memoir, you agree that you will:
Memoir integrates with third-party services including Google Drive, Google Photos, Microsoft OneDrive, and Unsplash. Your use of those services is governed by their respective terms and privacy policies. Memoir's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Memoir is not affiliated with or endorsed by Google, Microsoft, or Unsplash.
You retain all rights to the images and content you view through Memoir. Memoir does not claim any ownership over your files. The Memoir application itself, including its code and design, is the property of Gregory Stitt. You may not copy, redistribute, or repurpose the application without permission.
Memoir is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Gregory Stitt disclaims all warranties, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. Memoir does not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or compatible with your device or browser.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Gregory Stitt shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use Memoir, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. This includes, without limitation, any loss of data or access to files. Because Memoir processes everything locally in your browser and has no servers, your total remedy for any claim relating to Memoir is to discontinue use of the application.
Gregory Stitt reserves the right to modify or discontinue Memoir at any time without notice. These terms may also be updated periodically. Continued use of Memoir after any changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. The date at the bottom of this page reflects the most recent update.
